Public bug reported: I am using Jaunty 64-bit. When deleting a file, Ubuntu crashes if the file is opened before the file's icon disappears into the trash bin instead of a "File not Found" error. By crash, I mean that the window might pop up, but everything becomes unusable and a hard reset is required to get everything back to normal.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Select a file. 2. Press the delete key. 3. Immediately press the enter key before the file disappears. 4. Enjoy your system crash. In all practicality, this is a minor bug that shouldn't be encountered much. I stumbled upon it by mistake because my delete key is close to my enter key. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ubuntu crashes when deleting and opening a file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409377 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
