Half of this problem persists in 2.32.1 and 2.32.2 - the confusion
between dd/mm/yy and mm/dd/yy remains but the crashes are fixed.

Thanks for the backtrace, may you please install the libgtk and libglib
dbgsym packages and get a new backtrace? the one you submitted is
missing just a few gtk symbols there that would be nice to have in order
to send this upstream, Thanks Stephen.

I attempted to follow the instructions in

the debugging software - keyserver.ubuntu.com has not responded over the
last couple of days.
