As I wrote before, for me the workaround was to use the native 64bit flash
player from Adobe directly, it is in alpha stage right now, but I've found it
very stable and responsive, so no worries there.

The problem is indeed with Visual Effects. I have tried installing all
available 64-bit flash plugins and they all have the same problem except
for when visual effects are turned off. With no effects the work
flawlessly. My video is Intel 4500HD and I am using it via HDMI to my
LCD. I do not know a

also i realized that sometimes firefox completly frozen if you click one
controller. if you switch off the visual effects, then everything works fine.

preferences => apearence => visual effects and set it to none, it works fine,
but with Normal or Extra its broken, I'm gonna dig into the compiz settings
deeper, and see If I can fix it, but the default compiz setting
Yeah, tried watching a youtube video with compiz disabled (like the above
poster suggested), and the controls work for me.

I don't know what the problem was but it definitely wasn't firefox. I
tried new profiles, disabled extensions, &c. I then even tried Epiphany
and Konquerer with no luck so it had to be flashplugin. Then I
reinstalled karmic alpha4 from scratch(hadn't done a fresh install since
hardy). It still didn

I think the problem here is with nspluginwrapper.
I'm also on Karmic amd64, and the flash installed using flashplugin-installer
indeed does not register clicks, however using the native 64 bit flash plugin
downloaded from adobe directly works just fine.
So the problem probably is with the 32 bit
