Our kind upstream has provided a fix for the poppler-related build
problem, which was caused by a change in API. So here's an updated
diff.gz, as well as build and install logs.

I'd also like to note that I have not enabled the new PDF metatags
feature because when I add libpoppler-dev to build-depends, the package,
strangely enough, FTBFS with the following error:

Can we please have a FFe for this? I would add that 1.2.8 release
represents almost 1 year of development. In addition, it was followed by
a bugfix release, so hopefully the most outrageous bugs introduced in
1.2.8 have already been fixed.
