Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When trying to sort a group of columns, and one of the column is a formula made up with data on the other columns and the cell names are of the form "Sheet1.A1", the sorting is incorrect, and row data mistmatched. Go to menu->Data->Sort, enter sorting preferences, and everything is find. However, if in the column containing the formula, this formula is made up of the form, i.e.: "sheet1.A2&sheet1.B2", the this column is not correctly sorted, and the row alignment is mist matched. How to reproduce the bug: In the attached file, there're two groups of data. In both, the last column ("show_name") is a formula of the rest of the data. In the first group the formula is of the type "A2&B2...", but in the second group, the formula is exactly the same, but of the form "Sheet1.A2&Sheet1.B2...". Try the next sortings: Locate in cell Sheet1.E2, click data->sort, and enter: sortby "show", Descending; thenby "Show_name", asc; thenby "Firstname", asc. Then, everythin is correct. But do the same with the second group of data. Locate at cell Sheet1.N2, and repeat the sort filter. Now, the data on column P is unsorted and mist matched with respect to the rest of the data. You can see the result of this incorrect sorting in sheet2.
