My clock applet's calendar also displays nothing, despite having events
in there that I can verify if I open up Evolution's calendar.

I was really starting to like and use the calendar and the task bar
associated with it, but two days ago everything just disappeared. This
never happened when I used the calendar with Windows and Apple. Is my
information gone forever or is it out there some place where it can be
retrieved? This
sorry I don't know what triggered the bug in the first place, but now every
time I start evolution I can't use the calendar or the task features.
as for the evolution-data-server - where do I go to find out if it is running
or not?
