Ok, one last check: please uninstall linux-backports-modules- alsa-$(uname -r), compile the latest stable snapshot (http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa- driver-20091213.tar.bz2), and test playback and capture without any model quirk and with model= quirks. -- [Regression
