Here's a diff based on the current tip of HPLIP which should suffice
as pkservice.py and base/pkit.py haven't changed in several releases.
This will work with the current 3.9.8 plugin.

Dave, Shiyun, Don, can you do the migration to the new polkit1 as soon
as possible and provide a patch for HPLIP 3.9.8? In Ubuntu we are after
feature freeze for Karmic now and so we cannot take the next HPLIP
release into Karmic, but patches are no problem.
This is very important because we do
