If anyone experience this bug when use OO.o with fglrx, please reply and
give more information. It's most likely due to OO.o using some OpenGL
function, and therefore triggers bug #2246. This was discussed
extensively in bug #80551. If no one gives any response to this bug in

Bug #80551 looks like the same issue.
If the analysis in 80551 is correct, i.e., fglrx is linked to
libstdc++5, then this bug is a duplicate of bug #2246.

The scim-bridge solution works for me also. Before that, when I started
openoffice on Edgy with the fglrx driver, it showed this error:
