I've tried recreating this bug with Oneiric and was unable to, given the
information you've provided. Please either a)
Looks the Ethereal save the current tracing as /tmp/etherxxx (owner root
since Ethereal is running with sudo, but access is 600).
I try to 'sudo chmod 666 /tmp/ether*'
then
mv or cp still fails. but 'sudo mv' could move the trace file to my saving dir.
