Sorry, seems that I changed status for Ubuntu package, not the upstream one. Can someone more knowledgeable with Launchpad fix it? Also, ZhengPeng Hou, you can still have the icon, it's enabled by default. But those with small screens can hide it. -- ibus shouldn't have a notification icon, or

The new humanity icon is indeed a lot nicer. However, it isn't essential to have an icon visible all the time. According to the upstream bug report, a fix has been implemented in the development version. -- ibus shouldn't have a notification icon, or it should be optional

The blue gradients really stand out, as well. There is a nice icon as part of the Humanity icon set, but the icon shown in the notification area doesn't fit well with the rest of the desktop. -- ibus shouldn't have a notification icon, or it should be optional
