I'm confirming this because I've just seen the same thing myself; pidgin 1:2.6.2-1ubuntu5 To be more specific, lets say you are on a big irc network and you open the channel window - in my case by doing a /list patternit came up and was populating and I clicked on the name to get it to sort;
