Can't say if this is reproducible under the same circumstances: I
dropped ReisersFS and am now using ext4 with Lucid. Reading videos from
FAT32 works fine at least.
I also use Jaunty on a notebook with ext2 and never had a problem
reading from USB devices formated in FAT32.
