I still haven't gotten to crash anymore. It's just that a bunch of its icons
disappear, or the tray disappears altogether.
I've attached a huge log where it eventually disappeared...

I just tried that again today... I haven't been able to reproduce it yet.
I had to do a fresh install of alpha 4 and then update it, so that may have
changed some things.

It would be helpful if you could set debug level to 9, reproduce the
crash and post log here. I've fixed couple of bugs in background
handling code for 0.8, and I probably could backport them to 0.7.6, but
I need a log to verify that this crash is not something new.
