I also confirm this bug. Move the backup archive into a folder with no
space in the path and its working

I can verify the same problem. I attempted to use an archive file
located on an NTFS partition. It didn't work. When I moved the file to
my home EXT4 folder everything worked ok. Using the final release of
Karmic.
