This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this being
fixed with an update. For future reference you can manage the status of your
own bugs by clicking on the current status in the yellow line and then choosing
a new status in the revealed drop down b
I no longer use KDE, so I can't say for sure, but I think it stopped
happening for me in later versions of KDE.

Same here using 4.3.4, but only on one account.
if i login with account B it woirks fine, but from account A i get the empty
popup.
Account B is fresh, and account A is an old account that followed every
kde version, so i guess it's a faulty parameter in account A that is to
blame.
