Public bug reported:

I Upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10

I should say, the upgrade didn't went too smooth,
it crashed during upgrade with softlock, and i have data-writeback, so i 'dpkg
-i'ed every package.
.. but lets check, if thats my or a real problem:

i have a crypted rootfs with luks, and the splash-screen doesnt show the
pw-entry screen ..

i have to switch consoles, to get the pw-entry screen.
so i believe it's soething with the combination splash + cryptedFS

I should note - it worked in 9.04
