I have the same problems for both the 32 and 64 bit versions on 32 and
64 bit machines..
Happens both after installing updates from repos in Alpha 5 AND when
using latest Alpha 6 images on CD for a fresh install.
In the case of fresh install, I encounter the problems directly from the
