upstart.

I retried the Sept 24 daily iso and I still get a login prompt when I
bootup with 'text' mode on the live cd.
I was expecting to be logged in as root. Sorry I don't think I was very
clear when I wrote the original description. I will update it shortly.

I found out about 'text' mode at

It absolutely 100% existed in 9.04. I tested it using VirtualBox today.
