bug 343528 though the backtrace looks different.

No, I haven't been able to reproduce it.
Any hints on how to try it? It seems that the connection to my
external monitor being plugged in may have been a coincidence.

I believe it's been fixed by the update that fixed the other bug too, so
I'm marking this one as fixed.
