Thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though some icons can be
flagged to be displayed when this option is used and it the design team
decided the categories and softwares should be in those cases

How is it not a bug that everything under Applications has an icon? Or
everything in every submenu under System has an icon?
The only things _not_ having an icon, in fact, are the submenus of
System (things in the submenus have icons; the submenus themselves do
not).
