Hum... sorry to have not read the last line in your comment #2. My tip
was a bit stupid.
Now your best option is to download karmic's iso again, and check the
iso's checksum before burning it.

I successfully tested the installation of ndiswrapper-utils and ndisgtk
packages tonight, with an installation from a karmic iso. I had nothing
like a checksum error.
Seems you had either a corrupted downloaded iso, or some CD burner problem, or
Cd reader errors. Can you connect your karmic syste
erhm, where can I set the release? I've karmic, the .iso image is from
saturday, downloaded via BitTorrent.
The repo which has a problem is the repo on the CD, without ndiswrapper
I'm not able to connect to the internet (I'm online via Ubuntu 9.04
atm).

Your report does not mention the Release you have (karmic / jaunty ...).
Please upload your /etc/apt/sources.list and eventually files in
/etc/apt/sources.list.d to let us see which repo has a problem.
