This problem still exists. I just built 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon on an IBM
T40, 1GB RAM that was an XP machine. Everything seems to be OK except
the wireless connection. Click it and I get SIOCGIFFLAGS error: No such
device. This box has been travelling with me for several years,
connection all over
