There won't be major software upgrades for already released versions of ubuntu due to stability. This means evolution in jaunty will not be upgraded to 2.28. Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic) is now out for a month. It would be great if you could test the Google support with CalDav. Thanks in advance. ** Chang

The result of various conversations with the Gnome people is that the bug won't be fixed in Evolution 2.26. For Evo 2.28 they have replaced Googlemail support with CalDav, and reckon it should work. It looks as if Karmic has 2.28, but it's still Beta, and I won't be upgrading until it's had chance
