Public bug reported: During installation of Ubuntu I'm asked to enter my name, so the computer knows my name. However, that information is not passed on to the spell checker. I realise that I have a somewhat funny name (at least it is not very common), but it would be nice if the spell checker (in any app) didn't complain about it all the time.
The solution is conceptually simple (it might be technically hard): just add the users real name to the list of accepted words in the spell checker. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: needs-reassignment -- Spell checker doesn't know my name https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/442940 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
