Public bug reported:
The gnome-netstatus version 2.26.0 included in Ubuntu Alpha Karmic 6 and
even the version 2.28.0 from the Debian Sid (unstable) do not have the
wireless signal bar that was available in 2.12 in Ubuntu Intrepid (and
its predecessors). This is especially bad since the default
NetworkManager Applet reports the wrong signal strength since my
inception to Ubuntu (and even so worse in Alpha Karmic 6)
