I'd love to but the machine is hosed. It boots to busybox. It looks as
the /etc/fstab is messed up. It still has the UID= line from the
install. I can't find a way to edit it. Any ideas?

I'm still dead in the water, but I did get a LiveUSB of Jaunty going so
I was able to check out /var/log/dist-upgrade. It was empty.
I did the upgrade from the Update Manager. Now I am downloading the ISO
and plan on making another LiveUSB with it and seeing how I get on.
Can you think of any
