My guess is that it's been fixed since. I'll leave the bug report as
incomplete. If somebody else encounters it as well we can have another
look, otherwise it'll expire at some point.

Since upgrade to maverick or lucid the messages are gone - so i can't
reproduce this anymore - this issue was reported more than one year ago
so its possible that after more than a year this one is gone already.

And can you still reproduce this problem? Did you compile any local
applications against talloc ?
If there are no applications that depend on libtalloc1 at all, I wonder
how it would ever be loaded.

I'm seeing this error in my syslog whenever any cron job runs. Cron is
doing three or four different maintenance task throughout the day on my
system, and I see the following occurring at the same time as each and
every one, e.g.
