Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 acpi-support: Installed: 0.127 Candidate: 0.127 Version table: *** 0.127 0 500 http://ubuntu.media.mit.edu karmic/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Sometimes when resuming from suspend, the screen brightness is low, as if the laptop were on battery, even though it isn't. The brightness has to be increased manually. The power manager applet does not think the computer is on battery. I have an HP dv9000 laptop, from Jan. 2007.
