Hi Pedro, It is a quite big file, you can find it at http://hdr.undp.org/en/media/HDR_20072008_EN_Complete.pdf (I've just renamed it on my hard drive). I've typed the command pdftotext -enc UTF-8 -q -nopgbrk /home/username/Público/PNUD\ DH\ 2008.pdf to reproduce the crash, but it exited

I've typed the command pdftotext -enc UTF-8 -q -nopgbrk /home/username/Público/PNUD\ DH\ 2008.pdf to reproduce the crash, but it exited normally. Please ignore this comment, I did it under intrepid instead of karmic. -- pdftotext crashed with signal 24 in SampledFunction::SampledFunction()
