I have the same issue, it seems on my system that bootchart also
produces the image in /var/log/bootchart but makes a broken version in
the home directory. Below I have attached a copy of the broken image.
OS: Ubuntu 9.10
Kernel: 2.6.31-15-generic
Motherboard: Asus M4N82 Deluxe
Processor: AMD Phe
On the bright side, it seems that /var/log/bootchart/ contains exactly the
charts I was looking for.
If this is the way to use bootchart, then fine, but the man page of bootchart
is misleading.
