The ogg and flac problem should be fixed in GStreamer Base Plug-ins
0.10.30. From the release notes:
Bugs fixed in this release
619396 : gstreamer does not seek http streams of Ogg Vorbis and Flac audio
files.
620939 : [oggdemux] No support for Skeleton 4.0 streams

The mkv problem should be fixed in GStreamer Good Plug-ins 0.10.24. From
the release notes:
