Public bug reported:

On Hardy I switched to linux-image-2.6.24-24-server from linux-
image-2.6.24-24-client. I forgot to install linux-restricted-
modules-2.6.24-24-server though. So when I rebooted, my X server didn't
start. Also, at just about the time it should have been starting the X
server, it rebooted instead. It did this twice in a row. The X log
from the second attempt at least ends with the line "FATAL: Error
running install command for fglrx", or I never would have thought to
investigate my video driver situation. After installing linux-
restricted-modules-2.6.24-24-server the system works fine again.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
