That is not a regression. It has been that way for several releases. Ubiquity is spawn with gksu inside ubiquity-wrapper, to allow other frontends (other distributions) to use alternative methods for spawning a process as root. I've just tested the latest daily-live CD (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

I downloaded current daily live cd with this morning, but I can not look default icon command now because I think two or free veeks not works the installer desktop icon commandby default with Orca. You are true, now works this feature. This bug is invalid. Attila -- gksu command part missing
