Try running Update Manager and update the Ubuntu One client to the
latest version (currently 1.0.2-0ubuntu2). You will need to restart the
client software or log-out/in again for the update to take effect.

Same issue here. Running Karmic with all updates. Have had the issue since
using Karmic (Alpha 5?).

Affects me too. I tried a lot of things to fix this. I also tried to cancel my
subscription and a new sign-in, but there is this Bug that u1 does not delete
any file, if the account gets canceld.
