Public bug reported: Binary package hint: wpasupplicant
I cannot connect to a LEAP (hidden) network under Kubuntu Karmic beta. I tried both the Network Manager plasmoid widget, and WICD and neither could connect. network manager did not offer any networks to connect to, and configuring one and telling it to connect did nothing WICD did show hidden networks, and I attempted to connect as LEAP (same as I do on Jaunty) but it could not get an ip address. I am therefore assuming it is a problem in wpasupplicant, but am not sure how to get a more detailed log of the connection being established (from either frontend) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Oct 16 16:35:03 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 LiveMediaBuild: Kubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Beta i386 (20090929.2) Package: wpasupplicant 0.6.9-3ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-11.36-generic SourcePackage: wpasupplicant Uname: Linux 2.6.31-11-generic i686 ** Affects: wpasupplicant (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- LEAP not working in karmic (kubuntu) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/453271 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
