Public bug reported: I was using a dock, and that might have something to do with it. My battery didn't seem to be being charged, so I undocked it, and the laptop died instantly because the battery was dead. I plugged it directly into the laptop and recharged the battery, then connected it back to the dock and put it into hibernate. I guess this is what happened on resume.
