I also had to install the following packages:
libstdc++5 from Jaunty:
http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gcc-3.3/libstdc++5_3.3.6-17ubuntu1_i386.deb
"Dummy" package for libcupsys2
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/c/cups/libc
