Currently I'm using kernel 2.6.32.9 (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.32.9/) and it seems to work fine. The bug I've
reported affects the official Ubuntu release (9.10) only. Other kernels
downloaded from kernel.ubuntu.com worked fine (at least for me).

Hi Michal,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
If it remains
For me i wouldn't call it unusable, but very unresponsive. Way worse
than the same system with jaunty on it (dualbooted). Have not tried any
other kernels than current Karmic kernel thou (and all historic ones of
karmic)
