would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine

X-Fi Sound Blaster, microphone does not work.
I tried to hybernate my computer, then I restarted it and the
microphone worksthis might perhalps help fixing the bug ?!?

I have 64 bit ubuntu 9.10 and have the same problem here. At least the
workaround helps a bit but if this problem could be solved this would be
a great thing for all x-fi owners out there.

Hi all,
i managed it to work on 64 bit ubuntu 9.10 by installing gnome-alsamixer
and setting the Line-In to unmute. The Rec Checkbox of the Line-In is
not selected. Then of course, you hear yourself talking.
