I've just tried to open the file in Ubuntu 9.10 KK. The same problem as
with 9.04

Doc is the original format of the file. The file were created by my Dad
and he need interoperability with Windows/Word so he saving file in doc.
I'll try to help my father to install 3.1 from PPA and check if it save
tables properly.

I haven't tried 3.1.1 on Ubuntu, but I just tried to open the file in OO
3.1.1 on Mac. The table is still missing.
One more thing the table is visible in Google Documents, but looks
rather strange.

Can you attach the original file before it was saved to doc format? I
think the doc file you attached is probaby corrupt.
