Adobe Flash Player plugin version 10 is even not recognozined by FireFox on
8.04Hardy.
I downloaded the .deb package and installed it with no problem reported but
it is not seen in Firefox plugin list after that.
When accessing a page with Flash Player needed, Firefox still ask for
installing
Does the latest Flash update solve this problem?

his happened to me once, i think what i did was go into synaptic then go into [

I had a similar problem -- I found a script that un-installed the flash
10 files ... but I still haven't been able to udate to the flash player
