I'm running Maverick and this bug is still present. Reading the bug

My occurrences have been on Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit when trying to launch

I have been getting errors on npviewer since upgrading to 9.10 (64 bit).
I am also unable to play flash "videos". The player does not fully load.
In 9.04, I often used to get npviewer.bin taking excessive CPU while idle so
regularly had to abort the program.
Any idea why this doesn't work under 6
