I recently went back to Dapper from Edgy to stay compatiable with my
large project's OS.
Now, my monitor never sleeps. gnome-screensaver kicks in after about 10
minutes, but after 30 minutes, gnome-power-manger fails to sleep the
display (Even though that is the time chosen in the Power Managment
Um. I don't remember exactly what I was doing in May, but I can tell
you that right now my laptop claims to be Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and has the
same problem.
