Public bug reported: I use pvgrub at linode which allows you to boot your own kernel. While in jaunty I could use the -server kernel. When trying to use that kernel in karmic you get the following error
ERROR Invalid kernel: elf_xen_note_check: ERROR: Will only load images built for the generic loader or Linux images However the linux-ec2 kernel boots just fine. So maybe we should rename it to something like linux-xenU or linux-pvops or linux-xenpvops to make it more generic and useful ** Affects: linux-ec2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- This kernel is also useful for linode maybe it should be renamed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/463023 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
