This looks like something to do with your ISPs DNS server(s) resolving
unknown hosts to some IP. I use OpenDNS and if I enter Google into the
address bar I get an OpenDNS search for Google. So this is not an
issue with Konqueror but with your DNS set-up or your ISPs DNS set-up.
** Package
It's only when I do not add .com like extension to it. Suppose if I write
google.com it open the web page. But not when it is just google.
Moreover I can open the web pages like that in firefox. So,I dont think it
has some problem with DNS set-up
