Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
I just upgraded to Karmic Koala 9.10 from 9.04. Before upgrading, I was able to view the pdf at http://www.accuratepowder.com/data/Acc%20Guide%20v3.3%20version.pdf without any problems. Now, when I open it in Evince (or xpdf, or epdfview), most of the text is not visible. Specifically the load data that is found in charts for most of the document. I have verified that the same file displays correctly in Windows XP. Another computer using Karmic Koala also does not display the text.
