I noticed this happens only with KDE: I installed Gnome (using the
ubuntu-desktop metapackage) and everything works as it should.

Bugs,
had the same problem when waing up from hibernate.
the usb keyboard is working but slowly I have to push twice or more a button to
type, but when unplug and replug the keyboard it works fine this isn't the case
for the usb mouse
I'va noticed this log on messages log file:
