Attached a patch that fixes two things:
1.) If the filter is used, the selection paths refer to the child tree model
(three lines that fix this bug...), and
2.) Replaced the range selection thingy with an index list since multiple
selection != range selection.
There are still minor issues when
Confirmed on 8.10 alpha6 64-bit.
If the filter displays say 5 entries, the first 5 entries of the
unfiltered log are copied.

Hi,
I have just upgrade to Fiesty and this bug is still happening. It seems to me
that it would be helpful to fix this as it directly affects fixing bugs on
other programs.
