look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 and I don't have this problem. I configured
tomboy and everything works well.
Is this problem still present on lucid (I mean with lucid-update, so
version 1.2.2-0ubuntu1)?

same for me on two different machines, one is a fresh install of lucid
lynx, the other is a karmic upgraded to lucid beta 2.
I changed the name on the form with the correct one, it syncs nicely,
but now I have both computers duplicated on the device tabs.

Same for me. But the sync fails thereafter.
An error message pops up and tells me that the sync failed. In the
details it seems everything went fine though. After the failed sync, new
notes show up in the UbuntuOne web-interface, old ones (that where there
already when I enabled syncing) not. It a

Additional notes:
If I enter in the correct computer name it will attach itself to the
right system. I guess the actual bug is that it is using "None" by
default.
